Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data DriveAdria ("we", "our", "us") collects when you use driveadria.com, why, who receives it and what rights you have.

1. Who We Are

DriveAdria is responsible (the data controller) for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@driveadria.com.

2. Quote Requests

When you send a quote request, we collect:

  • your email address (required) and, if you provide them, your name and phone number;
  • the car, pick-up and return locations, dates and times you choose;
  • any notes you add;
  • how you found us: the website you came from, the campaign parameters of the link (for example utm_source or a Google Ads click ID) and the page where your visit started.

We use this data to forward your request to our rental partner, to send you a confirmation email and to handle any follow-up questions. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a rental agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without an email address we cannot process your request.

We use the information about how you found us to understand which channels bring requests, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

After your rental date we may send you one short email asking how your trip went. Answering is optional.

3. Contact Form

When you write to us through the contact form, we use your name, email address and message to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

4. Who Receives Your Data

  • Our rental partner in Croatia (Split). It receives your quote request by email so it can prepare an offer and contact you. For the rental itself, the rental company is responsible for your data under its own privacy terms.
  • Service providers that work for us: Hostinger (website hosting and sending emails, EU), Google (Analytics, only with your consent, and reCAPTCHA spam protection) and CookieYes (cookie consent banner).

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Necessary (always active):

  • pll_language – remembers your language (1 year);
  • cookieyes-consent – remembers your cookie choices (1 year);
  • Google reCAPTCHA – loaded only when you start filling in a form, to tell people from bots; Google processes technical data about your device and how the form is used.

Analytics (only if you accept them):

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) – visit statistics (up to 13 months). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics;
  • driveadria_attribution (your browser's local storage) – remembers how you first came to our website, so a later request shows its source (30 days).

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.

We also use WP Statistics for basic visit counts. It works without cookies and stores only anonymised, hashed IP addresses (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Security and Logs

To protect the website against attacks and spam, our security tools log technical data such as IP addresses and request times (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Copies of emails sent by the website are kept in a log so we can check delivery.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

7. How Long We Keep Data

  • Quote requests, feedback answers and the website's copies of related emails: 24 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Contact messages and email correspondence with you: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Security logs: for a limited period only, as long as needed to protect the website.
  • Cookie consent record: 1 year.

8. Transfers Outside the EU

Some Google services may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict processing or object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To use these rights, email hello@driveadria.com. We reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or the authority in your country of residence.

10. Children

Our service is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.

12. Contact
